I have applied to join a couple more 'paid to blog' sites and I am waiting to hear back from them.

Payment claims.

Today, I have requested payment from the UK cashback site Topcashback for the value of £3.54, and From Gainpay for $1.00. both will be paid to my Paypal account to go towards my target of earning £50.00 in September.
I am not sure whether to give up using certain sites which are not fast earners, but then I think that every penny is useful - this is one I will have to think about very carefully.

I have signed up to PayPerPost.

If you are interested in making some extra cash by using the internet, one possible way is to set up a blog and sign up to 'Paid to blog' sites. One such site is the very popular PayPerPost. Payments range from $5.00 upwards. There seems to be many opportunities available. I signed up on the advice of other 'earn money online' bloggers. What I like about PayPerPost is that you do not have to wait to be emailed any opportunities - which at some sites never happens! - You just log in to your account and check out the open opportunities section, pick the offers you want to write about and submit your article - its as simple as that. Payment is made after a month - you are paid to your paypal account. Sign-up is very easy too, just create an account with your own username, select the categories appropriate to your blog(s) then submit your blog for approval by the site administrators (usually within a week) once your site is approved - you can start making money. To be eligible to join PayPerPost, your blog must be 90 days old or more and be indexed by google - there are a couple more requirements which you can read on the site.

The site itself is very well laid out - with sections to see open oportunities, see the status of your blogs, useful tools and the main 'blgger dashboard'.

If you are serious about blogging and making extra cash then this is the site for you!

Investment.

I have made an investment using nearly all of my online earnings - and its totally safe (!), It will not make me rich but its a start.
I have invested £300.00 in a high street building society bond paying 6.5%(5.2%net) I will receive interest on a monthly basis, which will be added to my earnings total.
This should earn me £15.60ish over the year - just over £0.04 a day, £0.30 a week and £1.30 a month!!!!!!

Thursday 6 September 2007

YIpppeeeee!

I am so pleased.... my blog has been accepted by PayPerPost. I know it can annoy some blog readers but it is necessary for me to achieve my goal of making money.

Also this week, I have just finished a survey from YouGov for £0.50. I have received another payment from Myster-E-Mail for $0.18 (£0.07).

Saturday 1 September 2007

Its time....I think!

Hey! - I've just noticed something.... Its been just over 90 days since my first blog post - this means that I can sign up for Paid To Post programs. I will try PayPerPost first............................ (half an hour later) ......................... right, thats me signed up, I've just got to wait for my blog to be approved - fingers crossed. there seem to be many opportunities available.

August - The Month In Review.

Crikey.... another month gone already.
I am really pleased as I have earned £50.15 this month. I know that this is not much by other 'online earners' standards, but as I work full time aswell, I think that this is fairly ok. But I hope to improve.
I was a bit annoyed by Paypal - I was sent a payment of $0.04 which they automatically converted to £0.01 without asking me what I wanted to do with it. so I have set up a usd balance to collect any small payments from Myster-E-Mails.

This months earnings came from

Cashback Sites:
ECashRewards - £19.70.
British Rewards - £2.62.
RPoints - £5.90.
TopCashBack - £1.01.

PTR/PTC
DonkeyMails - £1.71.
PolarPTR - £0.40.
ArcherFish - £3.00.
Gainpay - £0.49.
Myster-E-Mails - £0.01.

Surveys:
Lightspeed - £3.00.

Paid to Post:
Bidvertiser - £1.96.

I converted a £10.00 John Lewis / Waitrose voucher to cash aswell.

Found: £0.35.

Two sites to try.

I have joined two PTR/PTC sites to give them a whirl. Firstly - I have joined Tesas Tea Mail - $2.00 payout to paypal and lots of links. Secondly - Myster-E-Mail - No minimum monthly payout and many random payouts - I was paid $0.04 after my first day - after not much clicking

TesasTeaMails

I found £0.25 at work today - it was under the fridge - it would have been more but my friend managed to get 21p.

Saturday 25 August 2007

News Update

I have received payments from Rpoints (£5.90), gainpay (£0.49), lightspeed (£3.00) and bidvertiser (£1.96). With all these I have broken the landmark earnings level of £300.00 (about $600.00). I am still waiting for the eCheque from topcashback to clear.
I have had a few surveys in the last week - the last one being about new desserts from McDonalds for £0.75.
It is just over a week to go before I can start applying to join more 'paid to blog' sites - I think that it is best to join all of them - the more opportunities the better!

Sunday 19 August 2007

More cash!

Yay!!! I have been paid by Archerfish (£3.00), donkeymails ($3.54 - £1.71) and received notification of a paypal eCheque from Topcashback (£1.01).
I have requested a payment of $1.00us from gainpay and £3.00 from Lightspeed research.

Set a Target.

It is probably a good idea to set easily obtainable targets when you are doing a project such as earning money online. Therefore, I have made an 'executive' decision to have the target of earning a minimum of £50.00 (about $100.00us) paid into my paypal account EACH MONTH. I believe this is a realistic target to achieve. If I do this one month, the next months target will be increased by 10%. Any money received through bank transfers, vouchers or found is not included in the target.
I have signed up to a couple more sites which I will tell you all about after I have tested them to see if they are genuine and actually pay.
My target experiment will begin in September.

Thursday 16 August 2007

Claimed more money.

I have requested payments from three more sites today:
  • Rpoints - £5.90
  • Topcahback - £1.01
  • Archerfish - £3.00
archerfish.co.ukJoin Rpoints for free now to claim your £5 welcome bonusGet Cashback

I have made the decision to cashout of most sites on a regular monthly basis - if i reach the payout levels. This is because I can then keep track of how much I earn in a particular month, also, If the site closes down and I have a large balance still with the site - I would lose more money.

Wednesday 15 August 2007

Level 9 reached.

Yesterday I exchanged the £10.00 John Lewis/ Waitrose shopping voucher for a nice, crisp, lovely ten pound note.
I have also received payments from PolarPTR ($0.85/£0.40) and british rewards (£2.62).
This evening I had a survey from Lightspeed on the subject of chocolate! or more precisely - KitKats, for which i received 110 points (about a pound).
The £13.02 paid to me from these sites has enabled me to reach level 9 of my earnings chart - I am really pleased.

Saturday 11 August 2007

pay time again.

I have asked for payment of $3.54us from Donkeymails.com - hopefully I will be paid within about 10 days. Donkeymails is a paid to click/read/signup etc site. The minimum payout for paypal is $1.00 - they also pay in egold, alertpay and Ugotpaid (different minimums apply).
DonkeyMails.com: No Minimum Payout

I am also a member of PolarPTR - yet another PTR/PTC site. Although this site is not a large and fast earner, it has changed its payout level from $0.50us to $0.25us. PolarPTR has paid emails for cash and points, paid clicks for cash and points - points can be converted into cash, although at a very low conversion rate. I have requested a payment of $0.85us.

Wednesday 8 August 2007

Yet more surveys.

I was invited to take, and qualified for three surveys today -
Yougov - earned £0.50p
PureProfile - earned £0.50p
Lightspeed - earned 110 point - value just under a pound.
short and sweet!

Monday 6 August 2007

look after the pennies....

I found £0.10p in a drinks vending machine again today. Although it may not be very much - every little helps.
I had an email form the person who ran Paid2 after I posted on his forum - he said I could request a payment of the money I had earned - so hopefully I should
receive 31p.

Sunday 5 August 2007

Paid2 has closed.

While browsing at Bobs Free Stuff Forum, I found this message from the owners of Paid2
Hi Guys, Sorry to say Paid2 has now closed. However we will shortly be launching a new reward site similar to British Rewards. In around a months time. The new reward site will be open to EVERY COUNTRY in the world and you will be able to refer friends in all countries. There will be over 1,000 offers in the UK. Over 300 in most other countries. There will also be over 200 rewards to pick from the website including cheques, plasma tvs, clothing and a section for items under 199 points (1 point equals 1p) You will be rewarded for referring the most friends, earning the most points, winning on forum competitions, all packages will also come with little freebies as well as your reward when the site first launches! This website is going to be HUGE! An official launch date will be announced soon and on this date we have LOADS of marketing planned, offers and rewards will already be added. There will be a forum for members to win reward points every day and much much more.

On the Paid2 news - Buggerit!!!!!
It remains to be seen if this new rewards site gets up and running - if paid2 is anything to go by........

Saturday 4 August 2007

Another day, another survey.

Had a survey from Valued Opinions yesterday on telecommunications and earned myself £2.00.
I am investigating HYIP programs - not sure whether they are any good, safe or
worth while. I am interested in programs that offer investment for 24hrs. I would probably invest $1.00 (about 50p) and see what happens - I am a bit nervous about spending my hard earned MakeMeRich money though.

10ads - £0.96

linemypocket - £10.00
cashbackbay - £8.42
britishrewards - £7.61
Surveys:
lightspeed - £6.00
Others:
bloggerwave - £4.86
found - £0.09

Saturday 28 July 2007

I'm still here!!

Well... what a week - my money making project was put on hold for a couple of days as I had a little problem to worry about -- namely a couple of flooding Oxfordshire rivers. Thankfully the water did not come into my home - except into the brick shed where i keep my bicycle. If the water was an inch or two higher it would have been in my flat. The bottom two rows of bricks of the building were submerged.
On a more positive note - I received £10.00 from linemypocket and have done a couple more surveys.

This morning I have read some forum posts that say Adbux is a scam. I am seriously considering stopping this program as I dont earn very much from it.

Friday 20 July 2007

Vestopia Market Blog.

Update

It seems that gainpay.com is picking up slightly - instead of having 1 or 2 paid emails a day, I am getting 7 or 8. I hope that things continue to improve on this site as I have earned a fair bit from them.
I have had several surveys today - one of which was from pureprofile and I earned £1.00, There are regular advert click-thru's where you can earn 5p each.

Thursday 19 July 2007

Some interesting news....

I have spotted some news from Google that they are setting up an online payment system to rival Paypal. I have a couple of ideas that may help it to be better than PP.
  • Have a better exchange rate.

  • dont have a monthly receiving limit on accounts.

I will be comparing the two payment systems to determine which is best/cheapest when 'Google Payment' is up and running.

In the post this morning, I have received the £10.00 John Lewis/Waitrose gift voucher from Pigsback.com - this was a bit of a suprise as our post sorting office had been on strike this week.

Tuesday 17 July 2007

I gotta lotta money...

Well... some money.
I have received payment from lightspeed surveys - £6.00, and from Britishrewards - £7.61. I have requested payment from cashbackbay - yet another shopping cashback site - for £8.42.
I have had many surveys in the last couple of days - about 50% I qualified for - earning cash and points to go towards shopping vouchers.
Still no sign of any paid to post offers :-(

Sunday 15 July 2007

Another request.

I have just requested a payment from linemypocket - to the value of £10.00. hopefully this month I will be able to reach level 9 of the earnings chart - £256.00+.

cashout time

I have requested payment from three sites I am a member of this weekend. ECashRewards - a shopping cashback site with daily clicks - are sendig me £17.00 by bacs. Rpoints is another shopping cashback site which has daily clicks - you are rewarded with points that can be converted into cash - the conversion rate is 1 point to 1p. I have requested £4.47, payable to my paypal account within 7 days.
Lastly, I have requested a £10.00 John Lewis/Waitrose voucher from Pigsback.com - as they do not pay out cash, I will be swapping this voucher for cash with my family as they buy some stuff from waitrose on a regular basis. Pigsback is yet another cashback site - but there are no daily clicks, instead, every monday you can click on a small number of their advertisers to earn 10 piggypoints each - equal to 10p each. there is also 10 piggypoints available each week for answering a quiz question from their advertiser Totally London.

Tuesday 10 July 2007

10ads

I have received payment of $2.00 (£0.96) from a paid ro read site called 10ads. Its not the fastest earning site by a long way but when you do reach cashout, they pay quickly. Payment requests are at $1.00 and $2.00. Normally, I receive one half a cent ad and three or four quarter cent ads each day (average 1 and a half cents a day).

I have had a few more survey invites - some I qualified for and some I didnt.

No sign of any Paid to post assignments yet - but I am still hopeful.

Saturday 7 July 2007

Whilst surfing the web this morning, I came across this quote and thought it was rather appropriate to my project.........

"Cash, like a person, is a living thing. When you wake up in the morning and go to work, you are selling a product - yourself (or more specifically, your labour). When you realize that every morning your assets wake up and have the same potential to work as you do, you unlock a powerful key in your life. Each dollar you save is like an employee. Over the course of time, the goal is to make your employees work hard, and eventually, they will make enough money to hire more workers (cash).
When you have become truly successful, you no longer have to sell your own labor, but can live off of the labor of your assets. "

Amen to that!!

The rest of the article can be read at http://beginnersinvest.about.com/cs/personalfinance1/a/blwealthy.htm

More progress

Things are continuing to improve and gather momentum in my money making quest. I have had a few surveys from the various sites that I am a member of - including Yougov and Ipsos, I have received my second payment from Bloggerwave ($10.00 or £4.86) and I found 9p outside my front door.
I have also received notification from Blogvertise that my blog has been accepted into their advertising program - so, I will be writing a few more paid blog posts. I will join more paid to blog sites as soon as I qualify as this seems to be a really good way to earn money.

Tuesday 3 July 2007

Blogvertise.

I have found a new Paid per blog post site called Blogvertise. I have signed up and I am awaiting approval. Basically, what they do is send you a URL to their advertisers site, you check it out and write a review, publish it in your blog and link to the site - easy really. Payment is via paypal and average payments are $5.00 to $10.00 each review.

Paid again.

Archerfish.co.uk have sent me £3.00 via Paypal yesterday. Also, I had a survey from Ipsos - worth 350 points (buys a £2.00 voucher for Argos, Boots or WHSmith) - the subject was cough and cold medicine! Thats the good thing about doing surveys, They can be about absolutely anything - you never know what you are going to get.

Sunday 1 July 2007

Joined a new Paid To Click.

I am checking out a new (to me) Paid To Click site called LinkGrand. LinkGrand is a profit sharing internet advertising company that will pay you to visit their advertiser's websites. As I've only just joined today, I am not sure how many ads there are a day. Each ad is worth a third-of-a-cent and there is a timer of around 20 seconds. Cashout is at $5.00, Payment is by paypal. If you would like to join this site then please click on the link above or click on the banner below. I shall be reporting how I get on with this site at a later date.
This one looks promising! (I hope!)

June - The month in review.

This month I have earned (or rather - have been paid) the grand total of £25.06. - Actually, I have earned more than this but I am waiting to reach payout levels on some sites - this will happen in July.
Hopefully this will improve over the next few months as I will be signing up to sites that pay me to write sponsored blog posts.

This months earnings came from:

british rewards - £5.32
linemypocket - £5.00
alphapoints - £5.00
bloggerwave - £4.89
gainpay - £2.95
apairof - £1.00
found - £0.90

So:
Cashback sites have earned me £15.32 (61.13% of the months earnings)
PTR sites have earned me £3.95 (15.76%)
Paid blogging has earned me £4.89 (19.51%)
Finding money has earned me £0.90 (3.6%)

Friday 29 June 2007

Archerfish.

I have requested a payout from archerfish.co.uk.
I have been with this site for a year and have earned nearly £20.00.
Archerfish.co.uk is a PTR and PTC website which will pay you between 0.25p (1/4 of a pence) and 1p to click on ads. The value of each ad will depend on how much the advertiser has paid for placing that particular ad on the site, which in turn will correspond to how long you have to keep the page open, for example a 0.25p click had to be kept open for 15 seconds, a 0.5p ad window for 25 seconds. You can only have one ad open at a time - to prevent cheating.
Payout can be made by Paypal, cheque and amazon vouchers.
There are several sections in which money can be made:
  • Paid To Click - usually a few ads, there is a click competition in which every ten clicks one lucky clicker wins 0.5p. I have won over 85p from this competition!
  • Paid To Read Emails - at the moment there are about three or four emails a day - mostly reoccurring.
  • The top clicker contest - click the most number of ads in one week and win a prize.

Pro's and con's:
(+) quick to pay out after request. Pays in £GBP.

(-) takes a long time to get to payout (£3.00). Only people living in the UK can join.

If you would like to join, click on the links or the banner, thanks.

Doubling

I have decided to introduce a way of tracking the amount of money I make online. I have been reading posts on the Doublers Den forum and it has inspired me to adapt some of the principles of doubling to my project - there are ideas and stories of how people have made their money.
Doubling involves starting off with nothing, then finding 1p or £1.00 and then doubling it until you have reached your target - which is usually £1million!
In the rules of doubling, you have to spend or invest your current stake to reach the next level - say, going from £128.00 to £256.00. But, the tight-wad that I am, I cannot bring myself to spend my hard earned online cash. I will be using the target table to break the earning target into smaller chunks.
I have not heard of anyone who has actually reached the millon target - a few of the bloggers and members of the forum are making good progress in their challenge.
I have added my target table to my blog and I will be signing up to the Doublers Den shortly.

On a different note... I have had a couple of surveys in the last few days. I am also considering a mass cashout request from all the sites I am a member of.

Monday 25 June 2007

Bloggerwave paid!

Today I received payment of $10.00 from Bloggerwave - after conversion via paypal, I ended up with £4.89. which isnt bad considering. I have had the second article approved aswell, so there will be even more cash coming my way.

I have joined Adbux - but, at the moment I am not particularly impressed... There are three what I call 'static' ads - which are there all the time, and many other 'flash' ads - which pop up and disappear very quickly. As I go out to work during the day, I miss out on many of them.

I am still waiting for the owners of Paid 2 to start posting their ads. If there are going to be as many ads as they say, it should be good.

Saturday 23 June 2007

Paid 2

I have just signed up to a new 'paid to' site called.....well....Paid 2. It hasn't started sending out paid emails or paid clicks yet as the owner is waiting for 250 people to sign up first. (currently there are 134 - the site was launched on 21 june). It is owned by the same person who owns BritishRewards. The payout level is £4.00 and you get a little present for signing up.
They offer a very good referral rate too.
Please use my link or banner to sign up, Thanks.

New earning opportunity - Bloggerwave.

I have decided to try and increase the amount of money I am earning each month – to help with this I recently signed up with Bloggerwave – a pay per review blog advertising scheme. You log in to their site to see if they have any available opportunities, write a review of the website, service or product, publish your review in your blog and wait for it to be approved – payment will be received after the specified time.
I have been offered a couple of opportunities by Bloggerwave – and have accepted them both. I am hoping it will not be long before others appear.
The site itself is easy to use and doesn’t take long to sign up.
This could be a good money earner.

More money.

I found 90p in a drinks vending machine today, which has made me break through the £200.00 mark!
I also had a survey from YouGov, it was one of their brandindex ones - worth 50p.
Shortly afterwards, i received a survey from ciao about IT - I qualified for it and earned £1.40.

YES! - I have just received payment of $2.04 (£1.00) from Apairof. I just hope that they start sending me some more emails.
Update: I have just sent an email to the webmaster about this.

A bit concerned.

There are two sites that I am a member of that I am a little bit concerned about, they are Gainpay and Apairof.

Firstly, Gainpay - The number of emails I have received has dropped dramatically from about 20 to 2. I am hoping that this is a temporary glitch as I have made a decent amount from them in the past.

Secondly, Apairof - A few days ago the site was unobtainable, now, there are no emails. I have asked for a cashout - so we'll see what happens.

YouGov surveys

I had a survey from Yougov this morning, for the princely sum of 50p. It covered various topics. The only downside to YouGov that I can see is that the payout level is £50.00. - and earning on average 50p a survey, it takes ages to achieve. But, if you are sent a survey, there are no screener questions, so you are sure to get the money credited to your account.

I also had a survey from Lightspeed Research. This time it was about the BBC. I qualified for it and was cedited with 150 points. 115 points are worth £1.00 paid via PayPal. You can swap your points for other stuff - such as HMV vouchers, crockery etc.

More surveys

Today I was invited to take four surveys, two from ciao, one from ipsos and one fron surveys.com. I only qualified for two of them - one from Ciao about toothpaste etc which earned me £1.36 - and another from Ipsos which earned me 250 points.

The pros and cons of Ciao are:
(+) They send out interesting surveys, you can write reviews of products.
(-) They take a long time to credit your account and take up to 6 weeks to pay you when you cash out.

Ipsos pays you relatively quickly in points - which can be redeemed for WHSmiths, Boots or Argos vouchers. I will probably sell the vouchers to family or on ebay.

Payout arrived.

I got the $1.00 (49p) from Gainpay today. I am two fifths of the way to another payout - this 20c was reached in only two days. I hope the number of emails stays high.

More survey invites.

Today I received two survey invites from Ciao.co.uk and Ipsos - unfortunately I did not qualify for either of them. This can get a bit irritating after a while. Ipsos gives you 10 points if you do not qualify - which is nice (at least you get something).
I am considering signing up to PayPerPost when my blog is over 90 days old - as I understand that there is good money to be made.
I have reached the $1.00 cashout level at Gainpay again - I am going to request a withdrawl.

Suprise five quid!

Back in January, I signed up to Alphapoints.co.uk - another cashback and daily click site. After a couple of months clicking like a loony, it appeared that I wasnt getting any reward for it, so I decided to stop and concentrate on other sites. I logged in this afternoon to see if anything had changed.... lo and behold - my balance had gone up from 48p to £5.38!

The cashout level is £5.00 only each time. So I have requested the five quid. It says payment will be sent within 60 days. we'll see......

I got paid!

After a quiet few days, I logged into my email account this afternoon to find I have been paid by LineMyPocket.co.uk (£5.00) and BritishRewards.co.uk (£5.32).
Happy I am!!!

Sunday 3 June 2007

I got a survey!

I have just received a survey from Pureprofile - all about paint - I qualified for it and earned £1.00 into my Pureprofile account. Payout is at £25.00 - To sign up click through to Pureprofile using my referral - this will help me immensely - I will earn £5 per referral - you can do this aswell if you join up and refer people. They also pay 5p for looking at ads.
Update: Conditions apply to the £5 referral scheme - you get the money when your referrals start earning - you get £1 for every £5 they earn. payment is capped to £5.

Gainpay

Another site that I use to make money is Gainpay. This is a Paid To Read (PTR) site - Each email is worth half a cent and there is a 30 second timer for each one. I have been paid over $30 (£15) by them. They are quick to pay out. Minimum payout is $1.00 for verified paypal.

Payment Requests

I have requested payments from two cashback sites this weekend:
Linemypocket.com - £5.00
BritishRewards.com - £5.32

Linemypocket.com has a daily click section - I usually get about £0.23 confirmed a day from doing these - some of the other clicks take a while to confirm. If you would like to register, click the link above and make sure that this code is in the 'Referred By' box: r66062x. Minimum payout is $5.00

BritishRewards.com also has daily clicks - I normally get £0.15 a day from instantly confirmed clicks, and a varying amount from the other ones - which are confirmed on Thursdays. If you would like to register, click the link above for me to refer you. Minimum payout is £0.01
(For the instant clicks - I have to restart my computer at the beginning (or do it first when i turn the PC on) and clean cookies between each one)

If anyone uses my referral links to sign up - Thankyou - I am most grateful.

The Beginning.

This Blog is part of my experiment to see if I can make money on the internet, and if so - how much.

I started on my quest for cash a year ago - by joining survey sites, Paid To Read/Click sites and Cashback sites.

In the past year, I have managed to accumulate the grand sum of £183.11 in my bank and Paypal accounts. I have a fair amount of money in sites waiting for withdrawl once I reach the minimum payout level.

A breakdown of where the money has come from:

  • Found Money: £1.93

  • Survey earnings £50.17

  • Cashback earnings: £62.75

  • PTR/PTC earnings: £67.93

  • Interest from bank £0.05

  • Paypal opening £0.28

  • GRAND TOTAL £183.11
